Well nothing interesting to post, really. I'll be releasing my future translations of bara manga here, since it's a little troublesome to do it on forums. Let me give a short introduction of myself:
I named myself Kylix about 2 years ago when I started (too ambitiously perhaps) a translation of Tagame's Pride, and got Volume 1 done but it was of low quality, not to mention atrocious typesetting and non-cleaning. Since then I've been working in partnership with great editors like Tinman (I dunno what other pseudonyms he goes by) and Enorn, so I've more or less wised up to the tricks of the editing trade. However Enorn has been busy with his real life, as have I (considering my 1 year hiatus) and Tinman seems to be busy with other projects, so I've decided to take on editing as well.
Currently my projects include:
Pride - stalled at chapter 11
Father and Son in Hell - script not started at all yet, will send to Tinman after I get it done
Kranke - script done, but no editors taking it up (Not sure what happened to Tinman)
Works by Tagame.
I really do wish to see through at least Pride, though, since I've already started translating it and it's not too nice to drop it halfway. I am currently editing Chapter 12 of Pride, although I started like, 5 months ago (hides head in embarrassment), but the upcoming scat scene just turns me off =.= I cannot give any estimated time to completion, however, since real life is not always so obliging.
Well if you are an editor and wish to commission a script, I would gladly oblige, since the time taken to translate is like, 1/5 of the time needed to edit it. However that still depends on how much time I can take off from college, and of course it depends on the language, for eg. I am not familiar with the various dialects of Japanese, aside from really simple kansai dialect. I can also do translations from Chinese, Japanese and French into English. Not the other way round. Though currently I'm only fixated on Tagame.
Also, you are welcome to repost the translations, as long as you keep the credits intact (sometimes I add a credits page, sometimes I put my name on the same page as the artist =P, well, just don't take credit where credit is not due). If it's a joint work with an editor generally conditions would be up to the editor since he would be the one releasing it.
